Hey there lovely fashionistas! My name is Nikki and I'am the new member of Mode 5 Haute Couture. I will be doing blogs here and there for Mode-5.com under the Miss Fashionista section. I will be doing blogs that are beauty and fashion related. Which will include, new fashion trends, DIY tutorials, and of course, makeup and beauty tips. But first of, I would like to introduce myself a little bit more to you guys.
Like I said, my name is Nikki. I'am 22 years old and I'am a college student, majoring in fashion. Right now, I'am in my school's fashion program, focusing more on the marketing and publishing aspect of fashion.
I have always been in love with fashion, ever since I can remember. However, like many of us when we were younger, we were never really given the choice to pick out what we want to wear and whatever Mom says, goes. But since we're now older & our sense of style has maybe gotten a lot better, we now have the freedom to pick and choose what we want to put on.
May it be clothes that are worth a few hundred bucks or something you just picked out at the local department store, it is fashion nonetheless.
I'm a firm believer that it's not what you wear that makes you look good, but it's how YOU wear it that makes you exceptionally beautiful.

Fashion is not just based on what is expensive or what is out in the market. Fashion is evolutionary and not revolutionary. Fashion is what we want it to be, just like art, it is to express our inner most emotions. It conveys the beauty out of imperfections and somehow make them uniquely beautiful.
